About the Product

The Black Crows Serpo is the brand's double-titanal all-mountain ski: 93mm at the waist, built to carve groomed snow first. It carries enough waist to handle chopped snow beside the trail, and enough metal to hold an edge where no-metal siblings like the Camox and Captis let go.

Under the topsheet sits a poplar and fiberglass core inside a semi-cap layup with ABS sidewalls all around, plus two titanal plates under the foot. The Serpo is the only model in Black Crows' 26/27 range that lists double titanal plates in its official materials, and the metal is the point: Black Crows credits it with additional edge hold, extra stability and a more positive response, over a flex the brand calls medium and tolerant. The profile runs a progressive front rocker into classic camber with a light rear rocker — easy turn entry, real grip underfoot, and a tail that releases the arc instead of locking you into its very end. The radius is 20 meters at all six lengths, so the ski prefers committed, round, medium-to-long turns no matter which size you pick.

It suits strong intermediates through experts who spend their days on groomed snow, carve with intent, and want a Black Crows ski that stays planted at speed. It is not a powder ski: 93mm with classic camber pokes off-piste rather than floats, and deep days belong to the wider Atris or Anima. It is not the playful pick either — the no-metal Camox (97mm) is looser and more at home in trees, bumps and soft snow — and skiers chasing quick, slalom-feel turns should look past a 20m radius entirely.

Within the line, the Captis (90mm) is the accessible no-metal alternative and the Octo (84mm) the pure-piste carver; the Serpo is the pick when edge hold comes first. It is sold flat, so it needs a binding — we mount it and help you choose among the six lengths in-shop. Our full review below covers how it skis and how it compares with its siblings.

Tech Specs

Fiber & resin: 90° Carbon fibers stitched into the glass. Extra pop and response, without adding extra stiffness.
Profile: More camber!
Core: High strength Aspen is combined with Bamboo and lightweight Paulownia wood to provide the perfect balance of strong and light.
Base: The highest grade carbon-infused sintered base material available. Designed for speed.
Side cut: A twin sidecut which allows for the underfoot width of a wide board in the tip/tail width of a standard size. This design provides improved leverage on landings, grip through turns, and stability on flat base.
Shape: Designed to be ridden in one direction. More nose than tail, set back stance, and a sidecut to match. Can you still ride it switch? Yeah, of course. Is it going to be as good riding switch all day long? Probably not.
