Stockli Laser SC Ski 2026/2027

Stöckli's Laser SC is the all-round carver of the Swiss maker's Laser line — 70 mm underfoot, a frontside ski for short-to-medium turns on hard snow. Its 120-70-102 mm sidecut is identical in every size, so the radius alone changes with length: 11.6 m on the shortest 152 and 16.0 m on the longest 176.

Underneath, a sandwich build wraps a beech-forward Race Core — the wood mix Stöckli leans on for a damp, planted ride. It carries an aluminum layer — Stöckli's FTC — with an S-notch at tip and tail that lets the ends flex into a turn while the body stays rigid; Stöckli lists neither a sheet count nor a weight. Racing Sidewalls and Full Edge Contact geometry feed grip to a wider SME edge on a Racing-Graphite base, beveled 1.0° base and 2.0° side. No carbon runs in this ski — that is reserved for the SL and WRT.

Independent tests describe a precise, quiet carver that grips hard snow and ice and swaps turn shapes willingly — but one that gives its best only when you stand on it and roll it onto a high edge. That points to a sporty skier, strong intermediate and up. What it will not do is float: 70 mm and full camber leave soft snow a place it passes through, not a place it plays, and a relaxed cruiser who keeps it flat never meets the ski the testers did.

Across the Laser range, the SL (66 mm) cuts a tighter, pure short-turn line, the WRT (67 mm) leans harder into race-bred speed, and the CX (72 mm) goes lighter and easier on a different core. PTO builds it into a system with the SRT 12 on its SRT Speed D20 plate and fits it to your boots in the shop; a predrilled version is sold too. Pricing is premium.
