Stockli Stormrider 95 Skis 2026/2027

The Stöckli Stormrider 95 is an all-mountain freeride ski built in Switzerland, 95 mm underfoot, with Titanal damping at a weight light for its class. It sits in the middle of Stöckli's Stormrider freeride line — wider than the 88, narrower than the 102 and 108 — and the 26/27 ski keeps the same article number as the current model: a carryover, not a redesign.

The build is a sandwich of poplar, beech and paulownia wood under a Titanal layup. Stöckli prints the graphics directly onto the metal — its Titec Pro treatment — which saves weight and gives the ski its raw-aluminum look. Polywall sidewalls, slightly softer and more elastic than a phenolic wall, are there for damping and impact resistance, and one independent review credits rubber layers in the laminate for much of how quiet the ski stays on hardpack. The tail zone uses Stöckli's Freeride Tail, built lighter and softer so the ski releases and pivots more willingly. On snow that adds up to strong, quiet edge grip on groomers, with a quickness in bumps and trees that heavier metal skis rarely offer.

It suits advanced-intermediate through expert skiers splitting their days between piste and off-piste who want damp, precise grip from one pair. It is the wrong ski for deep-powder-first skiers — flotation is its weakest suit, and the wider Stormrider 102 is the line's powder tool — and for park, switch or butter-focused riders, since the shape is directional and carving-oriented. If you avoid bumps and rarely carve, you would be paying for grip and quickness you won't use.
