SWIX U60 Universal Wax
A 60g bar of iron-in hydrocarbon glide wax that works across all snow conditions — wet, dry, cold, or spring slush. You melt it in with a wax iron at around 130°C (266°F), let it cool, then scrape and brush. That's the whole process. It's fluoro-free and biodegradable, so you're not dealing with the chemical headaches of older fluorocarbon formulas. Works on both skis and snowboards.
This is a solid starting point for anyone who wants to keep their bases in shape without stocking a full wax quiver. It won't beat a temperature-matched wax on race day, but for recreational skiing, weekend laps, or maintaining boards between seasons, it does the job cleanly and without fuss. If you don't own a wax iron, this isn't for you — look at rub-on options instead.
